Let's Shape, Score and Bake!

This is an interactive class, you'll get hands-on experience shaping sourdough and learn why this step is so important. We'll explore scoring techniques-both functional and decorative. And you'll learn the importance steam plays in the baking process.

At the end of class, you'll take home your own shaped, scored, and baked sourdough loaf, along with step-by-step instructions so you can recreate the process at home with confidence. We'll also discuss inclusions, like nuts, cheese, and dried fruit and how they affect mixing and baking. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to taste a few diferent soudough varieties while we chat about their flavors and techniques.
